The PowerLine PPR200X is designed to help weightlifters work out efficiently and safely in the comfort of their own home while performing a variety of exercises, from squats to pull-ups and everything in between. It offers a wide “walk-in” design, two heat-tempered liftoffs, two saber-style safety rods, and is adjustable to up to 18 different positions.

Assembly

Assembling the PPR200X is simple enough and shouldn’t take you any longer than 1 hour, even if you’re assembling it by yourself, although a second person will perhaps make things a bit easier. There are 26 bolts of varying length that need to be put together.

Construction Quality

When you use the PowerLine PPR200X for the first time its excellent construction quality (heavy gauge steel) soon becomes apparent and explains why it can handle a maximum weight capacity of 500 lbs. Therefore, you can be safe in the knowledge that it won’t wobble or shake during any exercise that you perform. The power bar also features two heat-tempered liftoffs and two saber-style safety rods that hold up to heavy use through the years.

Design & Exercises

The wide walk-in design offers plenty of side-to-side movement, allowing you to perform a wide variety of exercises. You can perform pull-ups, squats, curls, dips, calf raises, deadlifts, hanging leg raises, military press, rows, in addition to pretty much any other exercise that you can think of.

The wide variety of exercises that can be performed on the PowerLine PPR200X is achieved thanks to the upright pillars that are a full 24″ apart for free motion, and the 41″ wide chinning bar for exercises such as pull-ups and chin-ups. The rack also offers a total of 18 positions, not only to accommodate different exercises to be performed, but also to accommodate users of varying height.

Warranty

The PPR200X is backed by a 10-year frame and 1-year parts warranty.

PowerLine PPR200X User Reviews

The reception the PPR200X has received has been nothing short of excellent. Users appreciate just how easy the assembly process is, how well-constructed and sturdy the unit is, as well as the wide range of exercises that can safely and comfortably be peformed.

However, more than user has found that the paint seems to chip off bit by bit after awhile, although it’s nice to see that the company had the foresight to include a small bottle of paint in the box.

Any Complaints?

Besides an issue with paint chipping off, our only other complaint is that the hole spacing for the supports could be a bit narrower. You should also keep in mind that you will need to purchase a huge plate tree separately and barbell(s), too.
