The Kettler Stroker Rower computer monitor displays 6 functions simultaneously, including time, distance, current cadence, oar strokes, kilojoules and heart rate. We’re impressed that a Polar T34 chest strap heart monitor is included, as this type of heart rate monitor is usually reserved for high-end rowers, such as the Kettler Coach E. A nice touch is the recovery feature which provides a cardio wellness grading indexed 1 to 6, allowing you to track day-to-day improvement.
There are 8 resistance settings to choose from, ranging from 1, which is the easiest level, all the way up to 8, allowing users to determine just how easy or challenging they want their workout to be. The resistance level can be manually adjusted, although we should state that an automatic way of changing the resistance would’ve been preferred.
Rowing machines can be uncomfortable but this isn’t the case with the Kettler Stroker Rower. The footplates are bio mechanically designed to provide a natural pivoting action and full longitudinal rowing motion, similar to rowing on water. That means also, that you can fully extend your legs, even if you are way over 6 foot.
The seat is also well-padded and the sliding rail employs premium quality rollers, allowing you to glide during each rowing stroke for a smooth workout.
The Stroker Rower can be kept out of the way when not in use. The frame can be folded up, and transport castors are built into the machine.
The Kettler Stroker Rower comes with a residential warranty of 2 years
86 x 24 by 32 inches

There isn’t a whole lot to complain about.Everyone knows the benefit of rowing, and rowing machines have been gaining in popularity in recent years due to their ability to offer users a total body workout. However, Kettler have taken it one step further as Steel Platform accessories attach to provide 10 additional exercises.
Our one caveat is that the rower requires two AA batteries to function; then again, no need for an AC power source may be seen as advantageous to some.
And the usual question : Yes, you need tools to assembly – and it should be done in about 2-3 h.
